The pen was just as described and my nephew loved it. The seller was extremely helpful and very interested in our satisfaction. Would not hesitate to purchase again.

Not that I collect pens but I use a lot of them. Gel, Cross-a favourite, roller ball, and of course the Mont Blanc. It came in a very nice box and interesting multi lingual information booklet. The pen is black/gold trimmed with a plastic body as you see in the pics. It has a ink cartridge so it might dry up fast. We'll have to watch that and see then an update will be coming. We used the Mont Blanc roller ball which dried up very quickly with moderate use so I can't recommend it. This ball point writes smoothly and comfortably. The body fits my hand well but I'd like to have just a slight bit more tip of the ink cartridge out of the end of the pen. Perhaps it's designed this way to protect the tip. So far, it's very nice. Is it worth the extra bucks? Perhaps, if you want to impress your friends and colleagues or you just like a very nice writing instrument. Otherwise, a 20 dollar Cross pen will do just as well if not better. Or the good old Parker T ball jotter will also suffice. Both offer smooth writing and comfortable ergo. There is a very nice metal grid Mont Blanc but it sells for over 850.00. Now we're talking ridiculously expensive. Bottom line, the Meisterstuck writes well and feels very nice, as mentioned, and it's up to the buyer to decide whether the price tag is too steep. I can recommend it with hesitation.

This Pen was awesome. It was delivered quickly and the seller offered a 100% money back guarantee, which I certainly won't have to use. This seller is a true professional who I won't hesitate to shop with again.

I bought my Mont Blanc Meisterstruck pen over 20 years ago, when I was young. If I remember, I saw a doctor using one, and I made good money, so I bought one. That was back when I wanted to impress myself paying a ridiculous amount of money on a pen. Now,okay, it writes good and looks good. But to me, it's only a status symbol. Would I take this pen anywhere with me outside the house where I even have a remote chance of losing it, no. We are talking over a $300.00 pen here. Would I pay that much to buy another one today, no. I have the money, but unless you get it for free, I would never pay this much for any pen. The only thing I had happen to mine is it got a hairline crack, when I opened it up to put in a refill. I called Mont Blanc. They only replace your pen if it has mechanical problems.
So in conclusion, unless you have/make more money than what you need or buy it as a gift to impress someone and can spend over $300.00, all the more power to you. I think I can use pens that work to my satisfaction, and cost a lot less expensive than this.

[...]
The pen I was sent by Unique Gifts exhibited a variety of visible scratches, both on the black components and on the golden tip.
Upon notifying them of these deficiencies I was sent a second one. However it too exhibited a visible crack, which was verified at three different jewelry shops.
I made Unique Gifts aware of this fact and I asked them either to send me the pen I paid for, that is, new and with no defects, or give me a full refund. They chose the second option, that is the refund.
Of course, the whole experience has been extremely disappointing.
